This year’s style winners include Tongerlo Brown for Best Belgian Style Dubbel, Boschdal Quadrupel for Best Altbier and Spring Valley Daydream for Best Herb & Spice. Some of the World’s Best winners include Vocation Crush Hour for World’s Best Pale Beer, 1906 Black Coupage for World’s Best Lager and Dragon Premium Dark Beer for World’s Best Dark Beer.
Pete Brown, global chair of judges, offered a personal message to the winners and entrants of this year’s awards.
“For the brewers who entered beers into the competition, I’d just like to say thank you! There are a lot of these competitions around the world, this is my personal favourite one – it’s a really great competition to judge and it obviously wouldn’t be that if we didn’t get really good beers being entered,” said Brown. “I know people could have chosen to enter a different competition, I’m just very grateful they entered this one!”
